Sending
Pay someone privately with their meta-address, their address or their ENS name.
Status: the client beta opens to partners and early testers first. It sends ETH; tokens come next.
Who you can pay
Enter one of:
- a stealth meta-address,
st:eth:0x…; - a normal address or an ENS name, if its owner registered a meta-address in the ERC-6538 registry.
The client looks it up and tells you where it found the meta-address.
Two confirmations
- The announcement. A call to the ERC-5564 Announcer with the one-time address, your ephemeral public key and the metadata (view tag, asset, amount). It lets the receiver find the payment.
- The payment. ETH sent to the one-time address.
The announcement goes first. If you stop after it, the receiver only sees an empty announcement. If the order were reversed, money could land where the receiver cannot find it.
What is public
Your own address is visible as the sender of both transactions, and the amount is visible in the metadata and in the transfer. What nobody can see is who receives it: the one-time address has never existed before and links to nobody. See Trust model.
